First Watch Menu

First Watch... I gave them a last chance. I came here for breakfast with the in-laws, not my choice but I thought I would be open minded and try them again. We arrived with what started out as a ten minute wait, which was extended to twenty when our table of 4 was given to a party of 2. I ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast which was apparently "brought back by popular demand." I think the people that were demanding it had no sense of taste. The eggs were plain as expected, but I was not expecting it to be the best part of my meal. The Aideus chicken apple sausage, which I love and will occasionally purchase at the grocery store, was about an inch and a half long, split down the middle and left on the griddle till it was thoroughly burned. On to the namesake of my meal, the pumpkin pancake. It was a pancake, I can give them that. It had no flavor, not of pumpkin or even a regular pancake. I thought I would at least have the taste of maple and put some syrup on it. No matter how much I put on it, the syrup was just a sticky, viscous water, not even sweet. So, that sums up my first and last trip to North Port First Watch.

I admit I tend to prefer eating at local joints over chains, but I've heard such great things about First Watch that I figured where better to try it than in Florida! (Not to mention there's a dearth of brunch places around here.) The menu was almost overwhelming because everything sounded SO good. I love that there are so many options with lots of veggies and that most things come with potatoes (I love me some breakfast potatoes!) I was between the chickichanga (?) and the market hash. Ended up going with the hash on the waitresses recommendation and it was awesome! Even bonus surprise that it came with fruit (mostly pineapple! Yum). I also liked that they let you add/subtract whatever you want, so I added some avocado. For all you get, I'd say this place is a great deal. Lots of food, but I didn't leave feeling disgustingly full either. Perfect! Will definitely be back.

I walked in hoping for a quick meal before work and then wanted call in to work late! The food tasted amazing and the service friendly. Adrian (I hope I spelled that right) was my server. She knew her menu, recommended a great side selection and had a smile the whole time. She refreshed my drink when needed but did not constantly interrupt when she saw I was reading the news. That I really do appreciate The wi fi works well, just remember to accept the terms and my phone was loading fast as lightning. I very much recommend First Watch and will return soon!!

The fresh kale juice drew me in to this place. I was not disappointed. The wait staff is excellent. They work as a team and any that walk by your table ask if everything is ok and even clear plates. I asked if I could just get two scrambled eggs even though it wasn't aka carte and they accommodated me. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Added bonus for me is that it is next door to Chico's.

I've eaten take out from here quite a few times. I can't say that the food is not fabulous because it is. However, it seems to have a bad effect on the belly for me and a few other coworkers. It's tastes good and they have a lot of healthier options. The parking lot is always packed and the cars make it all the way to the Starbucks side of the lot almost daily. It's got a vast breakfast and lunch menu but the prices are a bit high for the portions. I just can't say i know what the big deal is with this place is personally. I've never eaten there so I can't comment on the service either.

If you're looking for basic bacon and eggs, this is not the place. While they do have such choices on their menu, they specialize in healthier dishes, like fruit crepes, quinoa bowls, and multigrain pancakes. I ordered the fruit crepes and they were delicious! The fruit tastes fresh and the strawberry yogurt on top was the perfect compliment. It also came with a side of granola (which you can buy in store if you like it) and a huge muffin. The coffee was just okay. It tasted like Dunkin's brew, and I'm not a fan of Dunkin. The service was fine up until the waitress brought us the check while we were still eating. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so I don't understand the rush; it's rude.

I must have caught the Chef on a Bad day! First the girl who took my order wasn't listening to me at all and wrote down wrong order. I ordered the Chorizo Chili omlet. When my order arrived it was basically a Cheese omlet with no Chorizo, no Avocado and no taste! I asked the girl " Where is the Chorizo"? I opened my Omlette and showed her that it was missing the main ingredients. She said " It's in the Sausage". there was no Sausage Anywhere! She said portions are weighed out. They must have used thimble to weigh mine! If your Hungry, Don't eat here! In my Opinion, Even Dennys would be better! I gave the place a 1 because the girls were hot.

Very unique menu choices. Not your normal greasy diner foods so don't expect that. It's breakfast food with health in mind. All the items sounded great and it was difficult to choose. Food was great and service and atmosphere were as well. Going to make this a usual stop when I'm in the area.

A good experience. California decor. Seated immediately at "high noon" on a Saturday. Approached by server in a few minutes. Order taken promptly. Server knew the menu. An acceptable wait for food delivery. Food exactly as ordered. Me: eggs Benedict, florentine style. Very good. Wife: scram. eggs, home fries, link sausage. Sausage so tasty, I requested name of product so that I could buy retail. Server kept checking on us. Price of coffee ( aucd ) a bit steep: $2.49/person. Rest of meal on price point. We'll be back!

Always a good place for breakfast or lunch. If you're looking for greasy / unhealthy meal go some place else. The staff are nice and have never had a service issue.

I have eaten at First Watch several times and have always enjoyed my experience there. The service is good, not having to wait long for a table even when they are busy. The breakfast menu has a unique selection of old favorites and some new inventive selections that are sure to please. If you love Belgium waffles, this is the place to go! If your looking for a new adventure in eating, I recommend First Watch. The hardest thing to remember about it is its' name, as unique as its' dining experience!
